At Byhurst farm we operate a small mixed farm of approx 150 acres of which 50 acres is arable and the rest is down to permanent pasture and is used to graze our herd of Hereford Cattle and make high quality Hay to sell from our farm shop.

We have created a diverse selection of wildlife habitats including several small ponds that we have renovated that support varied aquatic species.

We are pleased to have 3 resident species of Owl, and have recorded sitings of an additional 4 different birds of prey.

Based in Surrey but still in the urban fringe belt,  we are extremely lucky to have no public access across the farm and we feel it is that that enables us to encourage rarer species to flourish.
